Who are CAT Pumps?
Cat Pumps are an innovative USA manufacturer of triplex, reciprocat-
ing piston and plunger pumps designed for heavy-duty industrial appli-
cations. Their primary objective is manufacturing the highest quality
high-pressure pumps and custom engineered power units with match-
ing system accessories.
What are CAT Pumps?
Cat Pumps are triplex (three piston or plunger) pumps. They are positive displacement, reciprocating pumps. With each revolution of the crank-
shaft there is a direct motion in the plunger rods (piston) resulting in a positive output of flow from the pump. This output of the pump (flow) is in
direct relation with the RPM of the pump. The bore and stroke determine the amount of liquid handled with each revolution.

Piston Pump
Is necessary ( to a maximum of 2 metres). The mechanically actuated inlet valve and UNIFLOW design provides an excellent fluid flow through the
pump and strong suction capabilities. For negative suction applications, the flat valve option also offers additional valve seating for strong suction.
There are several frame sizes (horsepower groups) in the piston pump group. Within each frame you can modify the cylinders and piston assem-
blies to accommodate different performances. Single pump performance is 227l/min. (60 US Gpm)
Plunger Pump
Plunger Pumps are the ideal choice where a flooded or pressurized suction exists. They have been designed to last longer and be easier to ser-
vice than piston pumps. They offer greater versatility with optional minifolds of forged brass, cast 316SS, Block-style 316SS and duplex alloys. The
plunger pumps operate at higher RPM and have various drive options including the traditional belt drive, direct drive motor pump, flexible coupling
and bell housing, clutch or gearbox for direct mount to gas/diesel engines. Cat Plunger Pumps also have several frame sizes with single pump
performance up to 1211 l/min. (320 US Gpm)
Stainless Steel Option
Stainless Steel Pumps are available in either piston or plunger pump style. Lthe piston pumps come with 316SS manifolds, however the cylinders
and sleeves remain chrome plated 304SS. The plunger pumps are built with 316SS manifold heads and 3166SS valve assemblies and feature
solid ceramic plungers. The cast SS heads are suitable for most applications requiring SS and machined Block style SSL offer a.
