Pump :

‘P’ type radial piston diaphragm pump of compact design and high power to weight ratio. Pump features include, multi-cylinder design
ensuring pulsation free operation, tubular diaphragm pumping chambers eliminating piston seals, all moving mechanical parts immersed in
hydraulic oil bath - moving parts in contact with the pumped media are limited to the diaphragm, inlet and delivery valves. The nature of the
pumps design allows the use of “dirty” water, filtered to only 150 microns, whereas conventional plunger pumps need filtering to 50 microns,
and gives the ability to run dry without damage.

Pump is arranged for flange mounting and direct coupling to gearbox. Safety over-pressurisation protection
device is also fitted.
Engine
: Four cylinder Yanmar 4TNV 88 water cooled diesel engine producing 31Kw (42hp) at 2,500 rpm. Instrumentation includes charging, oil
presure and coolant indicators lamps, electric start and emergency stop button.
Gearbox : Lightweight 37.5kW (50hp) aluminium reduction gearbox, direct coupled and flange mounted between pump and engine.
Hose Reel
: Hydraulic Hose Reel c/w 150 metres hose & Inlet Water Supply reel with hose
The unit is fitted with a hydraulic circuit that powers the hose reel drum via a PTO drive from the main engine. The plastic hydraulic
tank has a capacity of 22.5 litres (5 gallons). This feeds the engine mounted hydraulic pump which supplies the variable speed in/
out hose reel control selector to rotate the drum. The system is fitted with a visual indicator bypass filter and filter condition gauge.
The hose reel drum has a capacity of 100m (330 ft) of 12mm (½ inch) nominal bore two wire braid high pressure hose. A hose feed
guide is also fitted.
Instrumentation : Instrument panel located at right hand end of skid. Panel includes fluid damped pressure gauge, throttle cable, engine controls and
emergency stop button.
Water Storage :
Single skid mounted rotationally moulded plastic water tank with integral water baffles and fitted with 50mm overflow. The tank is filled via a
¾” ball type float valve and is fitted with two water tight inspection covers. The nominal capacity of the tank is 390 litres (86 gallons).
Skid : Purpose built compact skid frame made from folded section steel to reduce weight. It incorporates pump, engine, water tanks, instrumentation
and hose reel. Unit includes plastic fuel and hydraulic storage tanks complete with sight gauges. An Anti-freeze system is also incorporated
as standard. All metalwork is shot blasted and powder coated for long life.

Unit weighs 620kgs dry & 995kgs when full of water.
